About The Piglet Pod
The Piglet Pod is where it all began at Pantcefn — the original retreat, and still the one guests return to most. Its curved arch form, clad inside and out in deeply grained timber boards, creates a space that feels instantly and completely removed from the world outside.
At the centre: a king-size bed facing out through floor-to-ceiling bi-fold glass doors to open Ceredigion countryside. The headboard is a full-width deep-buttoned cognac leather piece. Pendant industrial lights hang either side. A cowhide rug anchors the polished concrete floor.
The bathroom is a boutique wet room tiled entirely in hand-glazed sage-green herringbone — round iron mirror, white vessel sink on a floating industrial shelf, open rainfall shower behind frameless glass. The kitchen alcove glows warm amber with matching retro kettle and toaster.
The deck holds a chromotherapy hot tub — shifting from white to soft purple as the evening deepens — screened for privacy, with Pantcefn robes hanging on the glass panel. Cast-iron bistro table and chairs complete the picture.

An Evening at The Piglet Pod
The hot tub heats, the chromotherapy shifts to soft violet, the bistro candle catches in the breeze, and the Ceredigion countryside dissolves into blue-hour silence.
The bi-fold doors stay open as long as you want them. The pendant lights glow. The record player is on the sideboard. The robes are hanging by the tub.
This is the kind of evening that makes the drive home feel very far away indeed.

Getting Here
The Piglet Pod sits on Pantcefn farm just outside Llanarth, easy to reach from the A487 coastal road. Aberaeron's harbour restaurants are five minutes away, New Quay ten.
The 186-mile Wales Coast Path passes close to the farm, and some of the finest beaches in West Wales — Llangrannog, Tresaith — are within 20 minutes.
