About The Tri-Pod
The Tri-Pod is Pantcefn's newest and most dramatic retreat — an A-frame structure clad in corrugated zinc and reclaimed timber that rises from the Ceredigion countryside like something between a mountain refuge and a design hotel.
Step through the bi-fold glass doors into a soaring open-plan space lined with weathered timber boards. A sculptural white spiral staircase curves up to the mezzanine bedroom, where the king-size bed sits nestled in the apex — warm wood on all sides, a handmade branch chandelier overhead.
Downstairs: a leather sofa faces the electric fire and flat-screen TV. Branded Pantcefn robes hang ready. The fully-equipped kitchen sits behind concrete-effect cabinetry. The bathroom is boutique-hotel quality — blue zellige tiles, a stone vessel sink, matte black wall-mounted taps and a walk-in rainfall shower.
Outside, a private deck holds a dining set with open countryside views. The hot tub sits on its own terrace. And the signature feature: an outdoor shower mounted on a salvaged tree trunk, screened in timber, lit from below after dark — genuinely magical.

Getting Here
The Tri-Pod sits on Pantcefn farm just outside Llanarth, easy to reach from the A487 coastal road. Aberaeron's harbour restaurants are five minutes away, New Quay ten.
The 186-mile Wales Coast Path passes close to the farm, and some of the finest beaches in West Wales are within 20 minutes.
